Though the COVID-19 pandemic has brought much additional stress to our way of life, one positive has come out of it – a record amount of cats and dogs have been adopted in the US during this period. As you settle in with your new pet, proper socialization is going to be key, as well as proper veterinary care. Luckily, we can help with both!
What can your pet expect from our daycare center?
Indoor group play in a climate-controlled facility, play equipment and toys in-room, and relief stations in-room.
We have three rooms sorted by activity level and pet size, all of which have attendants in the room to supervise play. Pet owners will enjoy photo updates throughout your pet’s stay as well! Veterinary care is available during their stay if necessary.
Vaccines required for group play (flu, Bordetella, DHLPP, Rabies) and flea control is required. Please note, behavior assessments are done during your pet’s first visit to provide a safe environment for all pets and staff.
Party room rentals are available for pet parties, and snacks are available for purchase!
We also have some tips for making your pet’s first visit a success!
- Book in advance! We want to make sure your pet has a perfect stay here. Be sure to request days and times for your pet’s stay right on our website!
- Bring your pet’s personal belongings from home! Dropping your pet off at a new place can be frightening for both of you, but ease the transition with comforts from home. Pack her favorite toys and treats, a cozy bed, and other familiar items. Don’t forget to include medications and supplements, checking to ensure she has plenty for her stay. Avoid upsetting your pet’s gastrointestinal system by also packing her food. A sudden switch to the boarding facility’s food can cause vomiting or diarrhea.
- Keep the goodbye short and sweet. Although it’s difficult to say goodbye and leave your pet behind, ease her anxiety by making your goodbye brief and upbeat. Use a happy tone of voice and skip the overly dramatic, tearful goodbye. A peppy “see you soon” and a pat on the head before strolling out the door will do more for your pet’s happiness than 10 minutes of hugs and kisses.
